Songs, scripture, slide decks, video and timers all compile to the same deck of slides — so the transport bar, the keyboard shortcuts and the preview behave identically wherever you are.
Hebrew and Greek numbering disagree from Psalm 9 to 147, so a parallel reading used to stand two different psalms side by side. Every verse is now matched to the one that says the same thing, both references are shown, and a verse split or merged between the traditions lands on one slide carrying both.

actually match how people type.
Each monitor picks a preset: full-screen text over a background, or a lower-third band on a chroma-key fill for the stream. All geometry is a percentage of the screen, so a layout survives a different projector.
Move and resize the title, number, section label, reference and body on a live example screen, with snapping to edges, centres and thirds. There is no font-size setting — the box is the size control, and text is always drawn as large as it allows.
PDF decks are rasterised once at import, so a deck that imported cleanly can never render differently mid-service. Add clips or a YouTube link, image or video backgrounds, and a countdown overlaid on any screen.
Not every screen in a hall is wired to the desk. LyricVerse serves the projection page over the local network — a tablet, a TV browser or a phone opens it and gets your layout exactly, down to the fitted type.
Turn on Phone remote in Settings, open the address it gives you on any phone or tablet on the same wifi and type the six-digit code. Sections, songs, scripture and slide decks are all there, with Back, Hide and Next under your thumb. A device has to pair before it can do anything, and a new code unpairs every one of them.
It checks on startup, downloads quietly in the background and applies the update when you quit — an update can never interrupt a service. Your songbooks, translations and settings live outside the app and are never touched.
Bilingual UI (Ukrainian / English), standard MyBible modules, v1 songbooks opened unchanged, and nothing phoning home — the only part that needs the network is a YouTube item, and the UI marks those.

The Mac builds are signed with an Apple Developer ID and notarised by Apple, so LyricVerse opens the way any other app does — no warning, no right-click, and nothing to run in a terminal. Every update is signed and notarised the same way.
If an earlier version met the
"Apple could not verify LyricVerse is free of malware…" warning,
this release is the end of it. The xattr command that used to
be printed here is no longer needed, and there is nothing to undo if you
ran it.
The Windows installer is not signed, so SmartScreen stops it once with "Windows protected your PC". Click More info, then Run anyway. Nothing is wrong with the file — Windows has no certificate telling it who built this one, which is exactly what macOS used to say before the Mac builds were signed.
No songbooks and no Bible translations ship with the app: they belong to
your congregation, not to the program. Add your own from Settings →

The .tar.gz files on the releases page are for the built-in
updater, not for installing by hand — ignore them.
LyricVerse ships empty, so here are some ready-made MyBible modules to begin with. Download one, add it in Settings, and its whole text is searchable offline — nothing else to configure.

Open Settings → Songbooks and translations, choose Add
translation and pick the .SQLite3 file you just saved.
It is copied into LyricVerse's own data folder, so the download can be
deleted afterwards, and it survives every update. Add as many as you
like — the Bible tab picks one at a time, and
jn 3:16 searches whichever is selected.
None of this text is LyricVerse's. Each module is credited above and remains the property of its publisher; they are offered here only to save you hunting for a working file. If you hold rights to one of them and would rather it were not here, write to me and it comes down the same day.
These are standard MyBible .SQLite3 modules — any other one
you already have will open just as well, and so will a v1
.db songbook.
